The foods you will encounter at this unique market are all sustainable (organic, biodynamic and naturally raised), free of additives, colorings, pesticides and commercial processing. Chefs and gourmet cooks know that the best food sources come from farmers and food artisans that grow and create food the using time tested natural and traditional methods. The market will feature the crème de le crème of farmers and food artisans from Michigan and surrounding states.
Imagine the smells of fresh roasting coffee, fresh bread and delicious soups; Tasting dried cherries, tangy pickles, flavorful preserves and robust olive oils; Gazing at hues of salmon, fresh cut flowers, colorful fruits and vegetables; Hearing the sounds of live music, fellow foodies conversing, shopping and gaining new found friendships. A food lovers paradise.

Please note that not every food item at the market is grown in Michigan. Some items such as coconut oil, coffee, scallops, olive oil, etc. do not grow in Michigan however we try to source those foods from local food artisans who source organic, fair trade and small farm concerns in other regions of the world that are passionate about quality and sustainability. The goal of the Gourmet Farmers Market is to bring people together for the love of food. You don’t have to be a gourmet cook to appreciate good food, come and shop, make new connections and learn from those with a passion for their craft.
